How we use e-signatures!
Whether you're selling a property or planning to purchase one, all of the
initial paperwork is prepared for you by your agent and explained to you, face to face before you sign using a regular pen. The exception to this practice is when we have an out of the area client who wants to buy or sell a property. We can offer them two options: (1) Mail the paperwork for signatures and have them return it by mail or (2) Have them electronically sign the documents using their e-mail account.
There are times during a transaction when signing or initialing a form or contract is necessary. We offer electronic signatures as a convenient option for
our clients. They are fast and legal in all states; you don't have to drive to an office or be inconvenienced by an agent showing up at your door at 8:00 pm asking you to initial and sign a change in a contract. Don't worry; if you feel that you are technically challenged or you don't own a
computer or have e-mail address, we can and will accommodate you. Electronic signatures are an option (for the convenience of the client) not a requirement to do business with us. We work with you in the way
that you're most comfortable.
